“I rent. Am I allowed to do this?”
Yes. It unscrews your existing showerhead by hand and screws on in its place. Nothing is cut, drilled, or permanently modified. Keep the old head in a drawer, put it back when you move, and take eskiin with you to the next place. Installation takes under two minutes and the wrench and tape are already in the box, though most people do not need them.
