Is this a menopause treatment?
No, and we want to be clear about that. Eskiin doesn't affect your hormones and doesn't claim to. What it does is remove one of the things making a thinner skin barrier's job harder. Hormone questions belong with your doctor. Water quality is something you can change this week, without a prescription and without asking anyone's permission.
Why would water bother me now when it never did before?
Because your skin's defenses changed and the water didn't. Estrogen supports sebum production and collagen, both of which give your barrier its density and its water-resistant seal. As estrogen falls, that seal thins. Chlorine and hard-water minerals that were previously buffered by a well-oiled barrier now reach a barrier that has less to give. Same water, less protection.
Will this help with hair thinning?
It depends on what's actually happening. If strands are snapping mid-shaft from mineral buildup and dryness, filtering addresses the cause directly and most customers see meaningfully less breakage. If the issue is follicular, meaning fewer or finer hairs coming in at the part, that's a hormonal and medical question for your doctor. For most women it's some of both, and this handles the half that's environmental.
I already use a hydrating body wash and a rich moisturizer. Isn't that enough?
Those work on the surface after the shower. They can't undo what happened during it. Most filtered showerheads found on websites like Amazon only use KDF-55 or activated carbon materials as the "filter." They don't contain anything for ultrafiltration capabilities to filter out physical contaminants. In other words, they don't do the job very well. What's in the filter?
eskiin's filter is compact but mighty. There are 15 layers inside working to filter out chlorine, heavy metals like arsenic, cadmium, nickel, mercury, chromium, zinc, and lead, bacteria, and microplastics. Here's what makes up eskiin's 15 layers:
1. High density stainless steel mesh: Acts as a body guard for any contaminants and impurities entering or leaving the shower head and increases water pressure.
